Sneakers Claim To Change Health

Sneakers Claim To Change Health: "A $200-something pair of sneakers claims to change how you use your muscles, joints and spine.
So, do they work? WBAL-TV 11's Donna Hamilton put them to the test.
The manufacturers of the Masai Barefoot Technology (MBT) sneaker say their product's uneven sole transforms flat artificial surfaces, simulating how our ancestors walked around barefoot on uneven surfaces.
Hamilton wore the shoes for several days and found that her legs felt like they were getting a bit more exercise when she walked. She said the shoe are comfortable and offer plenty of support.

WBAL-TV 11 took the shoes to the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Baltimore's Mercy Medical Center for a more involved test."
