Converse sneakers: Converse sneakers are a type of shoes manufactured by another highly popular company, Converse. It?s been around for almost one hundred years.

The founder, Marquis Converse created the company in 1908 as a rubber shoe manufacturer.

The business really started to take off in 1918 when a baseball player in Massachusetts named Charles (Chuck) Taylor came to Converse?s company complaining that the sneakers he wore gave him painful calluses.
